Defective RB-DFR-441?

Good morning,

My engineer just received this unit by mail today and the metal blade between the two connector is severely damaged, with two indentations likely made by some kind of saw during manufacturing. Please find enclosed a picture. I inserted a piece of paper to show the damage. As you can see, on the right side, 80% of the blade is missing. I don’t think this unit will withstand 50A and as my project will continuously pump 40+Amps from my power supply. I’m a bit afraid to use it in this condition in a medical environment.

I hope this can be resolved quickly,

Best regards,

We have verified the rest of our stock and clearly see that there are two cutouts which were made for calibration. the unit you received differs slightly because the cut is deeper.
The choice is yours - all other units do have cutouts, though they look more “purposeful”. We can exchange the unit since it does differ quite a bit from what you should have received, and we ask that you contact us via the support center [email protected] with your invoice number and a link to this topic. We apologize for any inconvenience.
