[size=]Digilent Design Contest US region is open and applications are being accepted until [/size][size=]March 1st[/size] .
Select winners from each regional contest will be sent on to the worldwide final competition to be held at FPGAWorld in Munich, Germany in September, 2011. Here are the details.
USA region: Terre Haute, Indiana
Key Dates:
•Jan 1st, 2011: Registration begins
•Mar 1st, 2011: Registration ends
•Feb 15th - Mar 15, 2011: Teams notified of project acceptance, hardware distribution begins
•Apr 15th: Teams confirm participation in the regional finals: Names of students and advisors attending the finals.
•May 1st, 2011: Submission of final project reports and presentations (this is the final submission for all the documents including PPT presentation, design reports, source files, presentation movie)
•May 6th, 2011: Final presentation and judging at RHIT-Terre Haute, Indiana
Themes:
•Digital design projects featuring Digilent’s FPGA boards, developed in environments such as Xilinx ISE WebPack or ISE Foundation, National Instruments LabView, etc.
•Microcontroller projects featuring Digilent’s PIC-based embedded control boards, developed in environments such as Microchip MPLAB.
