I’m looking for a dc motor with the posibility to add a regulator to lower and increase the speed.
I need the motor for a handheld sanding device. It is to be used indoor on furniture etc., so it needs to fit the following criteria:
]Reasonable power to get the job done without destroying anything/:m]
]Powered by a battery (no idea on voltage etc. but a runtime of an hour or so before recharging is preferred)/:m]
]Preferrably af flat motor so it gets somewhat compact/:m]
]A pin that makes it possible to attach different pads/object/:m]
Note that I’m not looking for an actual sanding device type motor but something smaller and a bit more delicate 
Any suggestions on a motor and a battery will be much appreciated.
Any supplementary suggestions or things worth paying attention to is also more than welcome, since I’m new to making my own electronics.
