DC motor transmission to wheels and servo steering kit

Hi,
I’m making my own rc car with an Arduino micro with a 3D printed chassis.
So I can’t insert a DC motor in a prebuilt gear system on a chassis, I have to insert a gearbox.
I have all the hardware/software interface but I miss some mechanical parts.
I’m looking for:

  • a kit with a DC motor and a gear set (with almost no reduction) to transmit the motion to the wheel shaft (diameter of the shaft depending on the set I find). In practice a gearbox without reduction.

  • a steering kit to connect to a micro servo

In practice all the mechanical parts to be mounted on a 3d printed chassis and controlled by an Arduino board.
All suggestions are well accepted

Hi,

We invite you to take a look into our Inexpensive Gear Motors category. Maybe this 4.5V Hobby Gearmotor - 140 RPM (Pair) will interest you.
We unfortunately don’t offer a steering kit for a micro servo. You can probably find 3D files/ideas to print your own micro servo steering system parts on Thingiverse.

Thank you.
There is nothing of the same type with higher RPM?
I wanted almost no reduction in transmitting the motion.
Regards

This MakeBlock Geared Motor is rated with 200RPM (at no load). Or this Tamiya Twin-Motor Gear Box which has two gear ratio configurations 58:1 or 207:1, with 58:1 you’ll have approximately 212RPM on the gearbox output shaft.
Also note that lower the gear reduction, lower the torque rating you will have on the gearbox output shaft, therefore a small DC Motor for a car toy without gear reduction won’t have the required torque to move the car.

I was searching something near to 3.5:1 ratio
