I have a shifter mechanism that I need to control and command to different angular positions. The motor operating voltage is 12v and the Max load current is 20Amps. The motor is connected to a gear box with a gear reduction of 400:1. There is a PWM rotary position feedback device connected to the output of the gear box with a base frequency of 1000hz that varies from -25deg=0% duty cycle and +75deg=100% duty cycle. I would like to use an analog input command for position. Is the SDC2130S controller a good selection for this application?

Hi pslawski,
That should work, you can have a look at the user manual regarding PWM input HERE.
All the best,
Thanks for the reply.
The PWM position feedback device I have has a base frequency of 1000 hz, which is too high for this controller.
I plan to convert the PWM signal to an Analog signal using a passive low pass filter, then connect it to the analog input of this controller.
Ok - You might want to send a little email to RoboteQ as they might have a solution for that
I will do that, thanks Eric!
