Hi
I have a DC motor that is 0.19A-4.9A top. I need a controller to control movement forward and reverse with a logical input. I see the DRV8838 but that is 1.7A. Someone with a solution to this? I can do it with relay but I prefer to have just a mini PCB. I’m gonna check today exactly how much current the motor going to cosume in the application.
Thanks
Do you already have a motor? If so, which one? Can you provide a link?
How do you want to control the speed and motion of the motor?
The more information you can provide, the better we can help you.
I have this motor.

I have to control with a PLC. The PLC outputs are digital, that because I want to control the reverse and foward with a single high or low. The speed will be secondary. The speed will be contant one I found the speed I want. For that I will put the voltage corresponding to that speed I want.
Thanks
If you don’t necessary care about speed, and need to control the actuator with a single high or low, a DPDT switch sounds like it would be best:
