Dagu wild thumper adapters

I'm new to the forum, and I need the 4mm adapter for the wheels on the dagu wild thumper... I know they sell them with the adapters... but I need only the adapters...

does it works to replace the adapter? if not, where can I find one that does?

 

I mean, yes that the robot comes with the adapters, but what if you lose one, you need to buy a new wheel to just get one? sounds unusual

Those Tamiya adapters won’t work without some modification. It would help if the 12mm hex is the same size as the WT hole but I can’t say. It looks like it would take some shenanigans to get the grub screw tightened onto the motor shaft even if it does fit.

As you are in Brazil, S&H is probably berserk, not to mention robotshop’s oh-so-kind $25 minimum order mandate. I’ve been told if you contact Claudia from Dagu, she can work wonders. I personally have no experience with her but I’m betting that will be the next thing you’ll hear if I don’t say it.

Shaft adapter hex

I’m trying to pair some non-4mm shaft motors with the Wild Thumper wheels and would like to know the size of the hex on the adapter. Hoping it’s 12mm…
