Thanks for the info, I’m assuming that nothing on the Dagu is waterproof? I’m looking to use it as a platform to attach water sampling gear, is it remote control compatible? Thanks

You are correct, this chassis is not waterproof.

Also, it can be remote control compatible, depending on which motor driver you will use.

Thanks, I appreciate your response, do you have any ideas for a platform that could be used for collecting water samples? The idea is to not submerge the RC vehicle, or chassis, but to get it close enough to a body of water to allow water to enter a resevoir of some kind, either a long PVC pipe or maybe some kind of container, the Dagu Chassis looks like one of the best options due to it’s ability to be retrofitted for various purposes, as well as the compact size, thx

Lynxmotion - A4WD3 Rugged Wheeled Rover RC Kit could be a potential candidate for this:

The A4WD3 from Lynxmotion is water and dust resistant (though not completely waterproof). You should check the robot periodically for water infiltration just in case, though all points of entry include rubber seals.
