Cytron 12V, 24rpm, 170oz-in Gear Motor w / Encoder

I want to use a Cytron 12V, 24rpm, 170oz-in Gear Motor w / Encoder (product code: RB-Cyt-93) to power a small vertical platform. The motor needs to be reversible. Most DC motors reverse when the DC polarity reverses. However, this motor is gear-driven and I want to make sure that it will operate equally in the reverse direction so that the platform moves both up and down.

Yes, this motor is reversible and even with the gearbox it will give the same output power and speed in one direction or another.
