Hi all,

Take a look at this video that uses a crude, but effective, three axis position sensing joystick to remotely control a three axis arm.

Thanks for the thread link.

The link on the Endurance-RC website to build the joystick is broken, but the thread link that you gave me has the joystick tutorial link and is intact.

Hey TCIII, here’s my take on the same principle. We modified inexpensive servos as the input device.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the additional link. Very informative.

The modified servos will definitely provide some inertia, that a straight pot won’t provide, and will give a more dynamic feel.
