Custom mechanical machine needs to be made but I need input on parts!

Hi everyone!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to read my post.

I am trying to build a small automated machine but am foreign to robotics and programming. I am looking for assistance in picking out parts that I will need to make it all work. Its very basic and simple but I don’t know what to buy. Once I have the parts bought I will learn how to put it all together and write the code. This is the basic explaination of what I need it to do.

-Read water tempurature from room temp to boiling
-Run 3 small stepper motor on a 3 seperate timers
-Power and turn a heating element on and off

Would I be able to do this using the Basic Stamp Kit?

Or do I need something more heavy duty?

You can use the following digital thermometer in order to read the water temperature: robotshop.com/ProductInfo.aspx?pc=RB-Plx-85

The most difficult part of your project will be to find a relay strong enough to drive your heating element. You might find one here: robotshop.com/relays-led-controllers.html
