Does Lynxmotion conduct (or know and can recommend) any robotics courses? I know you can effectively teach yourself a great deal with kits etc, but it would be really helpful to just get some sought of introductory type course in mechanics and programming so that you are familiar with things you will encounter and stuff…
I must add that i was after an online course of some kind…
If you’re still looking for something, the online youtube lectures that Stanford and several other major Universities offer might help. This is the first of Stanford’s Introduction to Robotics Courses. youtube.com/watch?v=0yD3uBsh … re=related
Two of the best I’ve come across:
] MIT Open Courseware: ocw.mit.edu/:m]
] Stanford Engineering: see.stanford.edu/see/courses.aspx (also some additional lectures on itunes)/:m]
Both have lab materials available for download, syllabuses, assignments, many lectures, etc. available. For instance checkout the MIT mechatronics course and lab materials (or almost anything in the mechanical engineering curriculum).
There are some decent books available too, but maybe not online and not free.
