how is the sensor able to turn side to side in your beginners robot without a motor, you would reccommend picaxe over adruino, and where did you get the tracks for the wheels on your 2nd first robot, the one that resembles a tractor?
does it automatically start when u connect the power source, may seem dumb to you :P or is there a switch?

the sensor cant move without the motor/ servo to turn it, well i cant.
i think it does go when you connect power source. dont listen too much to me… im a lego person. =)

A: There IS a motor. and it is geared, and controlled, and wrapped in a box - it is all called "a Servo"

A: Yes, for sure, for a first time project, no dopubt at all! (Personally also for second and third and… project - but everyone has their preferences)
