Hey guys,
I just had this realization. Would it not be a good idea for later versions of LMR to have a "highlight correct solution" feature for the forums pages? Oftentimes, when someone is trouble shooting a problem the community offers multiple suggestions until a solution is found. I think the owner of the thread should be able to somehow highlight the response that had the correct solution. This would outline/color the message (or messages if several solutions were required) containing the solution and copy it at the top of the discussions. I think that would help people searching through the database resolve their issues without having to read thorough several pages of discussions. The only downside that I can foresee is that it will be too difficult to chose one response if there is a long troubleshooting process solving multiple errors - but in this case, the user would be expected to not pick a particular solution but just leave everything the way it is now. Just a thought, tell me what you think !

PS I know there are a few threads with LMR suggestions out there but I couldn't find one of them. If the admins would like me to move this thread just give me a link to a suggestions thread and ill paste everything over.
Another option is a stack
Another option is a stack overflow or yahoo answers sort of rating system. I think its a good idea Gonzik
That is a pretty good idea,
That is a pretty good idea, Gonzik. I have certainly seen websites out there where the owner or even other members can vote for the “best answer”.
Yeah those are two
Yeah those are two possibilities also. The one thing we should avoid though is creating a hierarchy system like on yahoo answers. I think one of the things that make LMR great is that everyone has the same say - this stops beginners from being intimidated to add their two cents.
