Convert 3D Files

Could someone please convert for me the SolidWorks Files on the website into *.STP (Step) format, i really need them. The files that i am particularly interrested in are :

Bearings - All the directory
Servo - All the directory
Servohorns - All the directory
Washers - All the directory
Dual inline Multipurpose
Interconnect
Interconnect Servo Horn
L Connector
Long C
Mechanical Advantage
Multi-purpose
Short C

If you don’t mind me asking, what program uses *.STP?

Autodesk Inventor can import that format, but if IGES is easyer for someone then i don’t mind.

PS: my E-mail is : [email protected]

Could anyone please help me out here? It’s an issue of 5 minutes for someone who has SolidWorks installed to export these files in the format i need.

It would save allot of pain and time for me since i don’t have that package and really need those files.

Anyone?

All of the solidworks files were done by members of the forum. Right now lots of people are getting ready for school, getting their kids ready for school, or just wrapping up summer activities… I expect they will be more active in the forum soon. I wish I could help, but I don’t have the required tools. :stuck_out_tongue:

I converted everything but the assemblies to STEP (AP214) files. Any takers?

Um, cool! Can you email them to Beth [email protected] she will update the website. Thanks !

Think you can send them to Jim and he can upload them to the website so poeple can download them.

EDIT:
Jim replied 2 seconds before me :stuck_out_tongue:

Just emailed them.

Thank you so much for doing this. Lots of robot enthusists will be very happy to see these.

Very much appriciated.

I’ve added the .step files to the model database.

I converted the bt-03 and hbkr-01 assemblies, and mailed them away.

For the lpa-01 assembly, I don’t know what the BBH01.sldprt, gs01 bearing.sldprt, gs01 servo.sldprt are. If someone could tell me, i will convert it useing Rob’s directory structure.

Could somebody convert the ASB-11 and ASB-06 models to DXF format please? I need these to load into eMachineshop. I am considering trying to get a longer version of these brackets made, if this does not step on any proprietary toes - I won’t attempt it if it does.
