Controlling a Cubemars AK-60 with RC?

Hello,

I want to control a Cubemars AK60 6KV100 with an RC controller. I have never worked with CAN before and it is proving to be a challenge to get it moving.

I did get an Arduino MKR and CAN shield. I tried several of the example codes that I found online with no luck.

Can someone help with this please?

As far as I know about CAN, first the connection has to be correct (with terminating resistors etc.) and also you have to setup bit rate properly (for this motor, it should be 1Mbps). If the connection is correct, then you have to program commands according to user manual for the motor: * AK60-6 AK Series Actuator Driver Manual V1.0.8.pdf
