I want to control a Hitec continuous rotation servomotor with a fpga microcontroller, using the Sabertooth dual channel motor controller as a driver. I have used the Dual H bridge you previously offered with a Hitec continuous servomotor in the past, which worked well, but I am wondering if I could use the Sabertooh in the same manner.
I’m not sure why you want to do this. The CR servo has a board inside it that works the same as the sabertooth motor controller. I mean what is the advantage?
An H-bridge driven with a DC-Servo style PWM signal would be better then using the little driver in the R/C servo. No R/C PWM feeding to the comparator or pulse-stretcher (?) circuit in the R/C servo. 754410?
I wouldn’t think one would need a Sabertooth, 'tho.
