Construction small fast accurate robot

I have to make a small robot (less than 2 kg ) that goes the fastest possible in a relatively straight line (10° accuracy) for 15 meters. Any suggestions on how to do this?

For sure you will need active monitoring of the motor speed and/or heading of the robot (IMU) to achieve this.
Once you have those informations you can make adjustments to your direction.
