[font=Helvetica Neue]I have this project in mind, but before I continue getting the part for it I would like to see if it will actually work. I have assembled Makeblock XY-plotter and now I need to make it to draw a picture for someone who will enter the room. So in other words I need to activate the plotter with a motion detector. What parts do I need for that ? If I buy Me PIR motion sensor, will I be able to connect it directly to the XY-plotter and program it to work the way I described above ? [/font]

Hi,
There are a lot of little things that will need to be integrated into programming but yes you can connect a PIR sensor.
This kit comes with a Me Orion microcontroller and the Me PIR sensor will connect directly to a spare input port. You will have to code the board to take this information and make an action.
