Connecting leads from gearbox motors to screw terminals

Hello,

It is impossible to tell from the assembly video how to properly connect the two leads of each motor to corresponding terminal block on opposite side of the arduino pcb. While ground and power are labeled on the screw terminals, they are not labeled on the motors of the Tamiya twin-motor gearbox that comes with this robot.

I’ve attached a pic of the connections in question (black wire orientation is a best guess, but need to know proper connection of wires for both motors and both terminal blocks).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I don’t know the kit, are there two motor/gearboxes?

I’d just connect them, test and reverse a motors leads as needed. With two motors, one will typically have the motor leads reversed (motor is on opposite side of the 'bot).

Correct. it’s best to simply try the code and reverse the leads if necessary. Once you have the direction correct, only then do you trim them down to size.
