i have like a normal amazon servo its 5 volts i think, but i need some way to give it electricity from my 12 volt battery. it doesnt work if it goes into the cube orange i was told. anyone encounter this weird problem? what do i buy?

You can connect it like any other servo - to the Main Out servo connector pins as per documentation.
You will need to supply it with 5 or 6 volts DC via the center row of pins, using a BEC capable of supplying enough current for your servo.

is that the same as BEC

UBEC is generally the term for switching-regulators that can handle high-currents (>5A) and higher-voltage drops (such as from 35V to 5V).
BEC (battery eliminator circuit) is generally the term for linear-regulators that help reduction in smaller voltages, such as from 12V to 5V.
