We just bought a Viper Combat Robot with the suggested transmitter/receiver, the RadioLink T6EHP-E. In order to make driving easier for my kids I need this transmitter to be capable of Mixing on Channel 1 & 2 for single-stick robot drive. I tried looking in the user manual, but I could not figure out whether this transmitter has this feature and how to configure it. I would appreciate if you guys could provide me the instructions to do that or maybe another transmitter that would be more suitable for the job.
Thanks,
Augusto Pedroza
Hi Augusto,
The RadioLink T6EHP-E will work on a robot like the Viper but with two different channels. It’s not possible to mix both channels to gain single stick control.
However, you can connect them to the Throttle & Aileron channels. The problem is you will not have an auto-centering throttle joystick.
Others slightly more expensive RadioLink transmitter do come with the part needed to gain auto-centering on the throttle in their box.
This would allow you for two stick (left / right) to control your combat robot.

It is not suggested but to be found in the “Frequently bought together” section of the product page which is auto populated from other customer orders.
If you want the transmitter to be replaced, you can contact us on the Support Center.

Thanks a lot for the info and you are 100% correct it was listed in the frequently bought together section. I will return and get something more suitable. So do you have any recommendations?
We need:
- 4-6 channels
- Mixing channel capability
- Easy to program
- PC connection for configuration (optional)
You will be able to get an “Elevon” mixing in both the AT9 and AT10 which should give you what you need.
We tested (not with the viper) the signals and they move the right whey with the following settings (image).
