Composition of AL5D Robotic Arm Combo Kit

I would like “AL5D Robotic Arm Combo Kit for Serial Port”, but I don’t need DB9 Serial Data Cable (DB9-02) and Regulated Wall Pack (L5WP-01), so
I am going to order all other items separate (under “Includes” for the “AL5D Robotic Arm Combo Kit for Serial Port”):

  • AL5D Hardware-Only Kit (AL5D-NS), which includes:
    o Arm Hardware, Gripper and Gripper Attachment Kit
    o Base Rotate (no servos) (BR-NS)
    o Electronics Carrier (BEC-KT)
  • Arm Electronics & Software Pack (AEP-KT), which includes:
    o SSC-32 Servo Controller (SSC-32)
    o RIOS Arm Control Software for SSC-32 (RIOS-02)
  • 1 x HS-422 standard-size servo
  • 1 x HS-475HB standard-size servo
  • 1 x HS-645MG standard-size servo
  • 2 x HS-5745MG large-scale servo

Are there still any things which included into a “AL5D Robotic Arm Combo Kit for Serial Port”, but are not listed in the list?

You can purchase the combo kit and write in the comments, “please remove the DB9-02 and the L5WP-01 from the kits and reduce the price $29.90.” Would that be easier?

Unfortunately not.
In addition, I would like to split my order to the two ones to reduce the import duties and taxes (I won’t have any duties if one package price is less than $294).

Yes, those items listed make up the entirety of the AL5D combo kit. We don’t sneak items in to confuse you! ;D

We won’t be able to split your order on this end; you’ll have to place two separate orders yourself. Please, leave a reminder in the Comments box letting us know to NOT combine your orders. Yes, you will have to pay shipping on both orders. I assume you’re outside the United States, so it may actually be cheaper to pay the duties and a single shipping charge for one box, though I can’t be sure.

OK, same arm, a slight variation on the question. For the AL5D-NS kit, I see the “Electronics Carrier (BEC-KT)” listed, although I can’t find it as a single item for sale. Also, I see no reference to the base that everything sits on. I did fine one for SES, but I’ll bet that’s not it. I’d also like to find the base part number.

That part is not available separately. It’s in the electronics kit though. Not sure if this will change. We’ve got a lot of things in the works and adding that simple part is not a priority.
