Complex Problems in SSC-32

I am using SSC-32 for driving 10 servos in legged robot.

Power supply:
for VS1: 8vdc 6Amps DC supply from AC through transformer.
for SSC-32: 9V battery with provided clip.

Servo motors: 10 hextronics motors nylon gears around 6kg-cm torque at 6-7vdc.

I will get light when I connect 9v battery on SSC-32. and I power VS1, motors get power.

Problem: I can’t run any motor through lynx Terminal for SSC-32, that is Terminal detects SSC-32 , also REG on Terminal starts to set offset values, but when through slider to test servo I select channel of different servos, they don’t move at all. I can’t understand why?

Need images of the board and wiring.

Does the green led on the ssc-32 blink when you type in Lynxterm?

Do the servos ever hold position?

Yes initially servo get jerks, when I start power to VS1.
But when I start using lynx Terminal (ie when I slide a slider after selecting different channels) servo does not move.

Please describe what the LED on the SSC-32 is doing when you are trying to test it. Does it turn on? Does it blink? Does it stay steady?

Thank You for your response “The Boss” and “Fish”, when I changed 9V battery to a new one problem gone, all motors responded.

So I am thinking that instead to using battery of 9v, can I use to power SSC-32 through AC.
That is I will create transformer of 9Vdc from AC. But how many Amperes will be sufficient. Can 9Vdc 300milliamps will be sufficient?

I have a 8vdc 3amps Ac adapter, can I use it on VL of SSC-32?

The ARC32 needs around 100mA, so 3A will be more than enough
