Can the MadCatz wireless ps2 controller be interchanged with the regular, Sony brand ps2 controller? Or do they require alterations in the code? Thanks.

All of the programs we have that supports the MadCatz wireless controller will work perfectly with a Sony brand tethered controller. I have also sucessfully tested another 2.4ghz wireless controller made by Pelican, and another one made by Hitek, not the servo people.

I used to own a PS2, but haven’t had one in well over a year now. I still have a MadCatz tethered PS2 controller, and I have been thinking I could use it to tether my robots for testing… Am I right?

If this works, I will eventually get a wireless PS2 controller for robotics.

It should work just fine. I have ordered a batch of these wireless controllers with our logo on them! 8) They should be here next week. I have used them from this company before and the quality is very good. The price wil be around $25.00. for the controller.

They should look pretty sharp with the logo on them. I look forward to seeing them when they come in.

Oh, cool! Maybe I will just wait and order a wireless controller from you then.

The way I have Octabot built, it would be difficult to plug and unplug a tethered controller anyway. I don’t have the proper connectors to make this MadCatz controller connect to the bot board anyway.

hehehe I thought it was cool too.

Well, there is one more thing I must get next month, along with the Nubotics stuff. I didn’t think working on a little rover could be so interesting.

It’s so cool! I was going to buy a normal one, but that one looks just so cool with the lynxmotion logo and all, good job!
