Comparison of two robots

I need some parameters or indices to compare two robots (comparison of their configuration and motion in order to find out the better robot).
Do you know any? Or May you please give me a few keywords?

I’m gonna compare two Cartesian robots. I need some numerical parameters/indices to look for them in my comparison.
I’ve designed two robots, and I’m going to analyze them using ADAMS. I don know which parameters/indices should I consider in my work.
I’ve searched about that, but not found anything valuable. There are some parameters such as condition number, manipulability measear, etc, but such indices are defined as a function of the Jacobian matrix, which for the Cartesian robots equals one! So, these indices cannot be useful anymore.

I am totally confused about that. My major is in Mechanical Eng, thus I do not know much about robotics. I highly appreciate if you can help me through this by at least giving me a few helpful keywords.

Can you give us a better idea of the context, and what type of robots you’re looking to compare and why?

You mean a fixed device that can move a central plate along X and Y, or something like a 2WD rover? Still not sure what you need. Is there a product on the RobotShop website which looks like what you envision comparing? You’re comparing general parameters (speed, torque, acceleration) or more abstract things like maneuverability etc).
