I’m interested in the PT785-S Pan & Tilt System from the shop here (I think it made by servo city) and they are saying it a “Closed Loop” system. I’m wanting to use it wirelessly with my RC transmitter and receiver and what to use the TX sticks to control the pan and tilt. The way I understand the closed loop is that as soon as you release the TX stick the mount moves back to the original/start position?
Is there a way to change this and make it more like an “open looped” system so the mount will stay in position when the TX sticks are released? I want to use this for photography and video and you can’t really line up the shots then control the camera via the laptop if the camera mount is going to move as soon as the sticks are released.
Could someone please tell me if this can be changed in some way.
