Clarifications for the M5 ECG module

Hello,

I’m looking to build myself a portable continuous ECG, and I was thinking of getting the M5 ECG module, but I’m a little bit confused about what other parts/accessories to get with it in order to get a functional setup.

Does the M5 ECG module stack with the bottom battery module to have a portable power source instead of the 5V power supply? Would it last long enough to have at least 8hours of continuous reading?

If I want to download the data to a computer for viewing, would I need more accessories, how do I interface the M5 ECG module with a computer for data transfer?

Thanks!

Hello @CatEng and welcome to our forum.

The M5 ECG module stacks with the bottom battery module to have a portable power source instead of the 5V power supply. The lasting time depends on the battery capacity.

Currently downloading the data to PC directly is not supported, so you may need to think of some other way, for example storing data to a SD card.

Hope this helps.
