Circuit that works with xbee 900?

Hello everyone again.

In may i bought 2 x xbees 900 ,1 x xbee usb xplorer board(from sparkfun) , 1 x xbee xplorer regulated board(from sparkfun too)

and i have searched a lot to find a circuit get it work with my arduino because i realised that the xbee xplorer regulated board

can't  handle a xbee 900 while the usb version can .But i haven;t found anything work properly so im asking if anyone here

know how to make it work .

Please if anyone know something  let me know.

Thanks for reading...

On my latest project I use

On my latest project I use the following component from Sparkfun
2 x (XBee) http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8767
1 x (Explorer)  http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8687
1 x (Shield) http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=9841

And had no problem what so ever making my Windows application communicate with the Arduino.

What do you mean by the statement  “I realized that the xbee explorer regulated board can’t handle a xbee 900”, is that documented or just an assumption on your part. If it’s documented that the regulated board can’t handle the Xbee, then you might get Sparkfun to help you upgrade to a Xbee shield instead.

Have you read this? http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/ArduinoXbeeShield

On the Sparkfun side is an

On the Sparkfun side is an advice to bypass a diode on the regulated board to make it work with the XBee Pro 900 RPSMA.

.

No that has not to do with all xbee module but with the series 900 of the xbee modules Geir.

where is diode d1?

I cant find the diode d1 on xbee xplorer regulated board.

does anyone here know where on the board is?
