Charging 6V Ni-MH 1600mAh Battery

Can the RB-Hrp-03 BAT-03 6V Ni-MH battery (robotshop.com/en/nimh-nicd-s … -1025.html)?

The charger is 6-12 volts, so it should work, but when plugged into the battery, the LED indicator flashes red, which means that the battery is either damaged or the voltage is below 6V according to the charger’s datasheet.

The battery is new, and does not appear to be damaged in any way, so I am not sure what the problem is.

Hi Gregory,

Welcome to the RobotShop forum.

This charger should work charging your battery.
Are you able to check the Voltage of the battery with a meter ? Also, make sure the Red and Black color match between the battery and the charger (to avoid mistake from the factory).

Waiting on you…
