Thanks for the excellent description! Can you tell me the main brush motor voltage? My roomba’s brushes aren’t turning anymore and now I disassembled it and want to test if the motor itself is OK. The only thing I only found was the “Roomba 500 Series Service Manual” mentioning 200-500 mA run (1250-1400 stall) current, but nothing about voltage… Thanks in advance!

@Marc You can test the motor using 9 or 12V, this won’t be a problem. Just plug the motor directly to a power supply or a 9V battery and verify if it turns correctly.
