CH3 Legs

Hi All,

I purchased the CH3 kit about six months ago and have finally been able to assemble it this past weekend - so fun!

I was a bit confused about the legs, from the directions and looking at the picture of the CH3 it seemed that I needed to make 3 left/3 right legs, which I did.

When I tested the controller SSC-32 each servo seemed to work when actuated, but the left side legs went in the opposite direction of the right side legs. Moving an end servo with the test program would move it up, but the opposite leg (other side) it would move down.

Is this correct - or did do something wrong?

Sorry for the lame question, but i’m just starting out. I’m sure you’ll hear more from me in the future :laughing:

This is normal, as the servos are essentially mirrored on the opposite legs.

Yes, the program will send the proper pulses for each side to make it walk correctly. You did it right. 8)
