Hello
I have started to encounter a problem with emptying cat urine from my Litter Robot and have not been able to reach you by telephone. The urine does not always get completely covered with the Scoop Away cat litter and ends up getting attached to the screen and does not fall into the catch basket when the device goes through the emptying cycle.
Problem No. 2 when I fill the Litter Robot to the fill line the Robot dumps a considerable amount of litter into the catch basin. How does a person determine the correct amount of litter to be place in the Litter Robot
Can you provide answers to my questions, as I have not found any information in the product users manual?
Thank you for any assistance you may be able to supply.
Ms. Stephanie Francis Ph.D.
Hi Stephanie,
First, we would suggest you to change the litter or try another brand. This happens when the litter is getting too old and doesn’t absorb correctly the urine before the unit cycles.
Finally, we usually suggest the customers to fill the Litter Robot when it’s standing in its standby position. Simply take a cup and fill it until it reaches the circle line inside the globe. The circle line is the fill line for Litter Robot.
