Just a few words to show you a meeting AFK (Away From Keyboards) we two of LMRians had today. It was in Philadelpia as I was visiting USA for work and Andrew (AKA ignoblegnome) was able to meet. So here you have some pictures:

We were talking about robots, LMR and many other things. We love to interact in the LMR site, but it's nice when you can meet other LMRs AFK.

Not just online
The goal is to make LMR the largest community of robot builders online, but there will certainly be in-person events (so far MakerFaire), and I’m really looking forward to them.
Speaking of which
I know we have like another 6 months or so before the NY 2017 makerfaire. (but when your speaking robots it seems like no time is too long)

Yes JeffRo, I’m living part of the deep american way of life, including food, thoughts and other aspects. I like knowing how other people life and all mi respect for them as everywhere there are challenges to live on. Besides I’m meeting very friendly and talkative people, besides my workplace here I mean. Very interesting visit.
Really true…
I’m one of the most pro-online community here because you can meet many interesting people that it won’t be possible in other way. But meeting in-person is another experience that is not only possible, it’s good to live sometimes.
I look forward for more meetings, even one day many LMRians meeting, who knows?
