We all dream of having appliances and machines that can obey our spoken commands. Well, let’s take the first step towards making this happen. In this second iteration of Carlitos’ Projects, we are going to build a speech-controlled Arduino-based robot.
can u please tell me the detail description of this project ‘voice controlled robotic vehicle(car)’ its software and hardware’s used and cost of this project can i get this project in vijayawada or hyderabad
hey…
i m using rf instead of xbee.
i am just looking forward for some help on codes like how to send the voice signal through rf or xbee so that it can drive the rover
You need to disconnect the XBee modules to load the code; you can do that by either physically removing the modules (not ideal) or change the two jumpers on the shield.
Yes and no - it depends on the quality of the microphone and how much other “noise” it picks up. The biggest impact on speech recognition is simply the way you say each word.
Block diagram? We have the schematic for the DFRobotShop Rover, but the other boards are not open source (proprietary to the manufacturer so others can’t re-make them).
hi…inspired from your project o make i want to make the same project but i thought of adding the ping to the rover…
and the problem which i am facing is that i want to built everything…so getting stuck from where to program and about the code…plzzz help me.
Yes, you can certainly connect a PING and an RF module and see the distance readings remotely. However, you’ll also need an RF receiver connected to the computer, and also need to create the appropriate code to get everything working together.
You can certainly connect a PING to the Arduino speech controlled robot (or any other Arduino device); take a look at the same code in the manual to get an idea of how you should write the code. The manufacturer does not have sample code for the Arduino at this time, though you may try searching online to see if others have done it.
hey i would like to ask can i connect ping to the rover kit…(or my own rover kit) and watch the output on laptop.
basically i am making a voice controlled robot with distance ranging.
hope u will help me out of it… and can we use two arduino uno???
hey,
i would like to know weather i can connect rf module instead of xbee. and i want to connect a ping to it…
is it possible to see the output of ping wirelessly
I want block diagrams of
DFRobotShop Rover kit,
IO expansion shield,
VRbot speech recognition module,
Arudinouno .
please send your valuable information to my mail. [email protected]
I just purchased the voice control/rover kit and assembled according to your instructions. I downloaded your sketches and found I could not load them onto either the Rover or the RF voice control module. I did select the correct boards and COM ports. Funny thing is they download successfully if the XBee is not connected, but fail when the XBee’s are connected. I get a ‘not synched’ message. I am new to this, so am I missing something simple? Do I have to take the time to load drivers onto the XBees?
if so, can you do that with DFRobotShop Rover - Arduino Compatible Tracked Robot (Kit Bluetooth) or DFRobotShop Rover V1.5 - Arduino Compatible Tracked Robot (XBee Kit)?
is it possible to on the DFRobotShop Rover - Arduino Compatible Tracked Robot (Speech Control Kit) extra servos (on the robot) connected?
sorry for the bad English
