Can't Find SSC-32 card

I am running Lynx-32 Terminal Software and once I click on “Req” then instantly recieve “Can’t Find SSC-32 card” message. However, it was working before fine and the robot was programmed, meaning the legs were undjusted. I am stuck at this point, so please help me to figure out the problem. I even tryed reinstalling the software and google for answers. Thank you for your help.

The computer is running windows 7 64bit, the robot is Phoenix Hexapod, and the board is connected directly to serial port (also tryed serial to USB).

You’ve tried everything but checking the battery. If the computer used to find the SSC-32 and now it does not, but nothing else has changed, check the 9vdc battery on the VL terminal. Or check the output of the 5vdc regulator for 5vdc. If that’s not it, can you post an image of your wiring?

I got that part working. I did not had TX and RX jumpers on the circuit. Thank you for help.
