Hi Manjunath,

You can check a few thing out. If you send data to the SSC, the green led should blink and turns off. This means that the SSC is receiving data.

If it doesn’t blink, try your connection. Try if you’ve got the right communication port selected and check if the RX/TX jumpers on the SSC are connected correctly. You also need to check if both RX and TX lines of your cable are fine.

If it does blink, check if the bauterate of the SSC is identical to the bauterate that you have selected in your pc settings. You can also try so send “verâ€

thanks xan

i will try it out .

Also make sure the serial cable is a straight through, not a null modem cable. :wink:

Hi xan

 thanks for your immediate. can you please send me the commmuniation cable pin details(pc side and ssc-32 card) so that i can cross check my cable.?

Awaitng for your reply

Manjunath

Like Jim said, It should be a straight cable.

pin1 <-> pin1
pin2 <-> pin2
etc.

Good luck!
