Can you learn most of the arduino programming language from just the reference pages?

Is it possible to learn most of arduino from the reference pages? If not where did you learn arduino?

There is quite a few books

There is quite a few books on arduino, I think I’ve taken a look inside practical arduino in the past and it looked good.  You can check out Amazon and read the descriptions and reviews of the different arduino books, some of which are geared for beginners.

I agree. The tutorials at Tronixstuff are by far the most comprehensive out there. If you start at chapter 0 and work your way through chapter 13, you will be an Arduino expert.
