Can you assign a HOTKEY to a step or Sequ with RIOS (AL5D)

Can one assign Hotkeys like (F6) or a letter on the key board to do a function, Step, Sequence, or Postion in Rios the AL5D program? Thanks Much Mike

Thanks Robot Dude. Thats too bad. The ability to assign hotkeys would really open up the program’s possibilities and I’m not the first to ask about it. What a great update that would be… probably wouldn’t be too hard to impliment on the software side. Do you think you could pass it on to the powers that be and see if a HOTKEY ability could be in the future for BIOS? Thanks Mike

Hey that’s a good idea !

this feature is already existing in “SSC-32 Sequencer” software
see page 9 and 10 of Sequencer manual here to see what it looks like :

Rios can be controlled with the joystick but it cant launch sequences or project
you can use external inputs (A B C and D) to launch Sequences using the “input play” button,
but it’s limited to 4 different sequences and need some mechanical buttons connected on inputs.

i think i will add this feature in new RIOS update, maybe 100% the same as “SSC-32 Sequencer” one.
