Can XYZrobot A1-16 Smart Servo Operate Underwater?

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Does anyone know if the XYZrobot A1-16 Smart Servo (RB-Xyz-09) can operate underwater? It would be completely submerged in water for fairly large periods of time (~12 hrs).

I would just like to know before I purchase the servo that it can operate underwater. Other servos, specifically made for underwater use, tend to be more expensive with far too much or far too little torque for my needs.

The XYZrobot A1-16 Smart Servo cannot be operated underwater. It is not waterproof unfortunately.

How much torque do you need exactly ?

Specifically, I need upwards of 20 kgcm (~280 oz-in).

Thank you for the suggestion, I think I will proceed with the RB-Hit-215. It should be more than suitable for my needs.
