Can the strain gauge on elecrow Strain gauge module be changed

Hi

I’m looking into building a strain gauge system linked to an arduino using the elecrow module (Elecrow Strain Gauge Module - RobotShop) and wondered if it was possible to change the strain gauge on it ? If yes what would be the conditions ?

Hello @Kahlaoui and welcome to the RobotShop community,

You could desolder the strain gauge and solder another one. However, if your plan is already changing the strain gauge a better option would be simply getting an amplifier, you can find lots of options by searching for “Load Cell Amplifier”.
