Can someone recommend the parts I need to build an R/C robot

I would like to build a simple R/C robot base using the Gears HMC. Can someone recommend which parts I need to buy? Thanks.

]Gears HMC Platform/:m]
]R/C Dual motor controller capable of 12V and ~5A+ such as the Sabertooth 2x12 R/C/:m]
]7-12V battery pack and charger (above 6Ah if possible)./:m]
]R/C System (minimum 2 channel). For example RB-Hit-103./:m]
]Some 18-20 gauge wire to connect the motors to the motor controller./:m]

Hope this gives you some ideas. There are a lot of options really.
