Can RB-Sct-1090 Replace Lego 14696/3711a/3711b?

I’m needing a stronger chain for standard Lego gears.

I just purchased RobotShop’s “0.25" Pitch 1’ Plastic Chain” (RB-Sct-264) because it looks very similar to Lego 14696. 3711a, and 3711b.

I then saw the “0.25" Pitch 5’ Metal Chain” (RB-Sct-100). Can the RB-Sct-100 chain be used in place of the Lego 14696/3711a,/3711b link chain?

You’ll need to calculate the pitch of your Lego Gears to verify if these chains are compatible with them.
