Hi there, I bought my roomba 530 in US and now I’m planning to move to Australia. As the voltage is different in these 2 countries,(Mains voltage in Australia is 230V 50Hz), obviousely I may need to buy a voltage convert or a universal power supply, right? Is that safe to my roomba if I do so? Is anyone has such experience ?
Thanks!
In this case, you can use the power supply that came with your Roomba along with a step down converter rated for continuous duty and at least 100 watts.
You may also consider the purchase of a new 220V power supply. This product will come with a European plug and therefore a plug adapter for your Country would also need to be purchased. These can be purchased locally and are usually very inexpensive.
stock charger is one of the way to use roomba 530 for different voltages. Else you can buy adapter or stabilizers that can tweak the voltage as per your requirement.
