Hi !
You have to use a external card or a computer to send commandes to the
ssc32 card throw a serial port …

Hi Morris,

There are a lot of people around here who can help you out but you will need to give us some more information. What is your setup? What electronics are you using?

Did you check the phoenix tutorial? It should tell you everything you need to know to get you started. If not, let us know what step is causing problems

The SSC is a servo driver, you don’t need to download the source code since it is pre-programmed by lynxmotion. You can give it commands or read/write registers but that’s for a later stadium . If you want to download the source that’s on the tutorial page, you will need a BotBoard with a ATOM 28 pro.

Edit: It looks that I was a little bit “out of date”. :unamused: I just saw that it is possible to upgrade or even change the source code of the SSC. But you really need to know what you’re doing if you are planning to change that…

Xan

Dear Xan:

I have
1.Bot Board II
2.SSC-32
3.ATOM 28 pro
4.Basic Micro Atom Pro IDE v8.0.1.7
5.Basic Atom Pro program
6.LynxTerm v1.08

I don’t know use what program download PEP file to ssc-32

Hi,

You’ll need Visual sequencer for that.

Dear Zenta:

the agent said that Visual sequencer doesn’t suit for ssc-32. is it really?

morris

What kind of agent have you talked to? :open_mouth: Sorry, but this sound very strange because the Visual Sequencer (made by Laurent Gay) are made for the SSC32 servo controller.

Lynxmotion Visual Sequencer is a Windows 95/98SE/2000/XP/Vista program for controlling anything you build using up to 32 servos using the SSC-32!!!

lynxmotion.com/Product.aspx? … egoryID=15

thanks! Zenta. I will buy the Visual Sequencer program!
