I purchased the googo camera, connects via wifi to a smart phone or tablet, in my case used my phone and attached phone to top of RC transmitter.
The googo is a nice camera with wifi built in for $39.00, its case is cheep but the guts of the device are solid, I took the unit apart and just use the internals, photos below of the googo taken apart…
The unit comes with a small lithium battery which I plan on removing and power the camera from the RC battery.
It’s always nice to see the insides of products. The Googo is marketed as a “nanny cam”, although it’s really a very inexpensive WiFi camera (which seems to do the job). Having a rechargeable battery adds to the value. It’s unfortunate that the “added functionality” of being able to open and close the camera adds to the “cheapness” of the product, and perhaps what they should have done was to simply make the product as compact as possible. Has anyone else had experience with this camera?
