Camera for Speeding vioaltion caught application

Hi Tech Team,

We would need a camera for our Speed Violation Caught Application

and have chosen the following product.

Arducam 1.2MP Global Shutter USB Camera

Kindly let us know if the above camera is suitable for our application , if not,

suggest a suitable camera.

Technical Aspect of the Application

Development board used: Nvidia Jetson Nano Dev. Kit

Speed sensor : Microwave radar sensor (Work in principle of Doppler effect to measure velocity) - (GPIO Supported)

Both sensor and camera would go into the Jetson nano Kit.

Sensor will measure the velocity and if the predetermined speed is above

then the sensor will send a trigger pulse (3.3v) to the camera for taking single or multiple snapshots of the speeding vehicle.

Primary requirement of the camera:

Capture fast moving vehicles without motion blur

External Hardware trigger option

For high speed shots the best option is a global shutter so if you are referring to the AR0135 camera paired with a USB camera shield then yes that camera is suitable for your application.
