I’m working on building a 3D camera and I’m confronted to a little problem.
For this system I want to use a camera that will be able to get images in the NIR domain (850 or 940nm).
I already have an IR device that projects infrared dot-pattern (940nm).
I tested with the pi NOIR v2 camera, but the results are not what I expected. The images acquired by the camera in the dark or in the light do not show any dots from my IR device.
I was wondering if you could help me to find a more suitable camera to detect the NIR domain that I want or find a solution to my problem without changing my actual camera.

ArduCam offers a variety of NoIR camera modules, maybe one of those could work for you. Or you might prefer contacting the manufacturer directly and ask if they can provide an specific module without the IR filter:
