Calibration for the MH2 hexapod

Hi Guys,

So i have my MH2 together.
I used the SCC32 servo sequencer to calibrate all the joints so they look like the picture when servos are mid (all 1500).

then i moved to the flowbotics studio and attmpted the MH2 hexapod mode of the program.

When it connected, all the legs pulled in and things went at weird angles.

So my question is - how do i calibrate the MH2 - it was not clear in the instructions what to do to make it work with the flowbotics studio.

The kit shipped with an SCC32, not SCC32u…

Thanks!

The simplest is to just to use Lynxterm to perform the calibration of the SSC-32 / SSC-32U. Have a look at this post for details.

Using Lynxterm will save the calibration inside the SSC-32’s controller chip (in the EEPROM storage), which will activate at every startup of the board.

The calibration done in the servo sequencer is only valid in the sequencer (soft-calibration). Same thing for calibration done inside a FBS (FlowBotics Studio) app.

Sincerely,

Thanks Sébastien
