Calculations for the pulley system

Hello. I need to do some calculations to size my motor or find the torque needed to lift those 2 tubes. It’s a telescopic system eith 3 tubes. You’ll find the set up in the pic.w4 is actually a counterweight that I will put later for easy motion, that is, the retraction.

I am unsure of how to calculate the forces. Can someone guide me to just start?

There are many sites which teach you mechanical advantages when using pulleys. Search “Mechanical advantage pulley”. Most posts include the equations.

Your setup looks more like a pulley system used in a forklift. Your setup is a bit more complex since the pulleys will also move and share the load.
